The Abu Dhabi Quality and Conformity Council (QCC) announced launching a new corporate identity, beginning a new phase in the entity’s role and responsibilities within the framework of the Government of Abu Dhabi.

In a statement, QCC said the new identity reflected its vision to continuously improve the Emirate’s quality infrastructure to achieve excellence and global leadership.

Commenting on the launch, His Excellency Dr. Hilal Humaid Al Kaabi, Secretary-General of the Council, said: "The launch of the new corporate identity is a new beginning. It is a new start to the Council's work processes, which include joint initiatives with strategic partners, and importantly, we envisage to double our efforts to consolidate the foundations of a knowledge-based economy and to enhance Abu Dhabi’s presence in the global markets by developing an infrastructure that is in line with the international standards of quality and conformity.”

"The new institutional identity will enhance the continuity of the Council’s practice and application of its values, mission, vision and objectives, achieved with the cooperation of relevant local and federal authorities, translating the Council's projects, initiatives and programs into tangible achievements that reflect the national leadership’s aspirations and ambitions in raising Abu Dhabi’s rankings in the global competitiveness reports,” he added.

His Excellency further added: "Our new slogan is based on several main axes, namely developing specifications, launching conformity programs, strengthening the inspection infrastructure, building the metrology capabilities, as well as focusing on consumer safety and commercial fairness."
