Abu Dhabi Royal Equestrian Arts (ADREA) will open its new season with a performance titled Furusiyya: The Return to Origins, on Saturday 12 September 2026 at Jubail Island.
Rooted in the Arab tradition of Furusiyya, the performance brings together classical horsemanship, artistry and heritage in a celebration of the relationship between horse and rider. Through precision, harmony and trust, ADREA’s riders and horses bring to life a tradition shaped by values of discipline, patience, and mutual respect.
Furusiyya: The Return to Origins opens the next stage of ADREA's mission to preserve Furusiyya as a living heritage, creating new ways for its knowledge, values and artistry to be experienced by generations today. This philosophy lies at the heart of ADREA, the world's fifth school of classical horsemanship and the first established outside Europe. Its founding returns this art to the region where it began, on ground where the relationship between people and horses has been practised for centuries.
Beyond the performance, guests are invited to experience ADREA as a wider cultural and culinary destination. Visitors can explore its equestrian spaces and enjoy a selection of dining experiences across the campus, including Knead Bakery, SALT, and the newly opened Falwa by Emirati Chef Faisal Alharmoodi.
