His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, has attended the graduation ceremony of the 50th cohort and first university-level cohort of cadet officers at Zayed II Military College in Al Ain Region.

His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan congratulated the graduates and wished them success in their military careers as they serve the UAE, safeguard its achievements and uphold the nation’s deep-rooted values of promoting stability and peace across the region and around the world, emphasising the importance of advancing the UAE’s humanitarian mission at regional and international levels.

His Highness extended his appreciation to the Commander of Zayed II Military College, the teaching staff and all college personnel for their dedicated efforts, underscoring the vital role of the nation’s military colleges in preparing the UAE Armed Forces with highly qualified cadres equipped with both theoretical knowledge and practical military skills.

The ceremony began with the UAE national anthem and featured a military parade, followed by the Commander’s address. His Highness then honoured the top-performing graduates, after which the cadet officers collectively took the military oath and commemorative photographs were taken with His Highness.

The ceremony was attended by His Highness Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council; His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister, and Minister of Defence; His Highness Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ruler’s Representative in Al Ain Region; His Highness Sheikh Nahyan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Zayed Charitable and Humanitarian Foundation; Lieutenant General His Highness Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior; His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Court for Special Affairs; His Highness Sheikh Zayed bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan; His Excellency Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Tahnoun Al Nahyan, Adviser to the UAE President; Mohamed bin Mubarak Fadhel Al Mazrouei, Minister of State for Defence Affairs; and His Excellency Staff Lieutenant General Issa Saif bin Ablan Al Mazrouei, Chief of Staff of the UAE Armed Forces; along with a number of Sheikhs, senior civilian and military officials, graduates' families, and guests.
