National Health Insurance Company – Daman, a subsidiary of PureHealth, has won six awards from the Emirati Talent Competitiveness Council (Nafis) programme’s 2023-2024 edition. The success reflects the company’s commitment to supporting the goals of Emiratisation, developing national human resources and talents, as well as showing how Daman is empowered to consolidate the UAE’s leading position and competitiveness in various fields.

Daman took first place among major establishments in the insurance sector, in recognition of its distinguished efforts in achieving Emiratisation goals. The company also received the Diamond Category Award for its exceptional efforts made to empower Emirati talents and increase their job efficiency, while four of Daman’s staff were named among the top three in individual categories, with two awarded under the insurance position category, and one each under the supervisory and administrative position categories respectively.

The Nafis Award is an annual initiative launched under the patronage and guidance of His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, UAE Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, Chairman of the Presidential Court, and Chairman of Nafis, The initiative was launched as part of the Projects of the 50 agenda in 2021, with the aim of realising UAE Centennial Plan 2071. It does so by highlighting distinguished model citizens working in the private sector, as well as by encouraging Emirati talents to contribute to improving the competitiveness of the job market. It also aims to attract young people to work in the private sector as a primary option post-graduation.
