Strata Manufacturing PJSC, wholly owned by the Mubadala Investment Company, has achieved a significant new milestone with the UAE General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) by granting the company its Approved Maintenance Organization (AMO) certification as per CAR-145.
The certification expands Strata’s business offerings and value chain coverage to extend to maintenance, repair and inspection activities leveraging its world class capabilities and infrastructure. This new milestone will be paving the way for new business activities within the Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) segment of the aviation industry. This certification by the UAE authorities reinforces Strata’s position both nationally and globally, while strengthening its growing role in the global aerospace industry.
The new CAR-145 approval certificate was formally presented by the GCAA team to Sara Abdulla Al Memari, Acting Chief Executive Officer of Strata, in the presence of Eng Aqeel Al Zarouni, Assistant Director General of the Aviation Safety Affairs Sector at GCAA

Strata’s entry into the MRO sector builds on the company’s earlier efforts to establish capabilities in aircraft component repair.
