Under the patronage of Her Highness Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak, Chairwoman of the General Women's Union, President of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood, Supreme Chairwoman of the Family Development Foundation, and Mother of the Nation, the General Women's Union, Permanent Committee for Human Rights, and the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights in MENA have launched Phase 1 of the National Programme for Qualifying Cadres for Women's and Girls' Rights.

The programme is designed to equip participants with the skills and knowledge to advocate for gender equality, reinforcing the UAE’s efforts to empower women and supporting the national vision to promote gender equality and implement best practices in human rights. The programme offers a training curriculum covering the latest mechanisms, developments, and relevant laws, reflecting core community values and affirming the role of women in shaping the UAE’s future across all aspects of society.
