The Sheikh Zayed Protected Areas Network, managed by Environment Agency – Abu Dhabi, comprises 26 marine and terrestrial reserves spanning more than 22,800sqkm. Established in tribute to the late Sheikh Zayed, it preserves Abu Dhabi's natural and cultural heritage.
