Under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, and Chairman of the Presidential Court, the 13th Mansour Bin Zayed Football Cup will take place today at the football pitch located within Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental Abu Dhabi.

Organised by the Sports Committee of the Presidential Court in cooperation with the UAE Football Association and the UAE Pro League, the tournament forms part of ongoing efforts to encourage active lifestyles and enhance quality of life across the community.

The competition features 16 teams divided into four groups. The group stage follows a single round-robin format, with the winner and runner-up from each group advancing to the quarter-finals. The knockout rounds will then proceed on a single-elimination basis until the final, with prizes awarded to the top three teams.

Held during Ramadan, the tournament reinforces the role of sporting activities in promoting wellbeing and encouraging community members to adopt healthier lifestyles throughout the Holy Month.

Held in line with the objectives of the UAE Year of Family, the event also features community-focused activities, including a fan zone, the inaugural PlayStation Cup for Juniors, and a dedicated food and beverage corner, creating an integrated and family-friendly entertainment experience.
