Abu Dhabi Sports Council (ADSC), in collaboration with Palms Sports, has announced the launch of the Core X Fitness League, a series of fitness competitions that will take place across seven stages, featuring diverse terrains.

The Core X Fitness League is an innovative sporting initiative that combines challenge, fitness, and interactive experiences within distinctive natural environments. The stages will be held across diverse locations including beaches, as well as some of Abu Dhabi’s iconic architectural landmarks, as part of ADSC’s efforts to promote healthy lifestyles and encourage a culture of physical activity among members of the community.

His Excellency Talal Al Hashemi, Executive Director of the Events Sector at Abu Dhabi Sports Council, stated that the launch of the Core X League aligns with the council’s vision to deliver innovative and high-quality sporting events that cater to different segments of society. He noted that the diversity of locations hosting the championship enhances participant experience while offering new challenges at each stage.

His Excellency said: “Through such initiatives, we aim to promote a culture of sport as a daily lifestyle and encourage community members to adopt sustainable healthy habits, in line with Abu Dhabi’s vision to enhance quality of life. We look forward to wide participation in the Core X League, which represents an ideal platform to test physical abilities in diverse environments while offering participants unique personal experiences.”

The opening stage of the league will take place on 2 May 2026 at Khabib Gym on Yas Island, while the event will conclude on Fahid Island in Abu Dhabi on 25 July 2026, where champions will be crowned with the grand prize, subject to participation in all seven rounds.

The championship will move to Al Dhafra Region, followed by Al Ain Region, before returning to Abu Dhabi for the fourth round.

Al Ain Region will host the fifth round, while the sixth and seventh rounds will take place back in Abu Dhabi during July 2026.
