Abu Dhabi Police, Abu Dhabi Civil Defence Authority, The Department of Municipalities and Transport – Abu Dhabi (DMT) and Abu Dhabi Department of Energy have successfully responded to adverse weather conditions in Abu Dhabi, ensuring public safety and rapid response to issues caused by heavy rain in the emirate.
Abu Dhabi Police intensified their efforts to ensure the safety of the public and the traffic in the emirate by carrying out air patrols to film congestions and rainwater gathering across different areas. Abu Dhabi Police also transmitted the images through a live broadcast to help quick response to emergencies.
Abu Dhabi Police and Abu Dhabi Civil Defence Authority dedicated all capabilities to respond to adverse weather conditions in Abu Dhabi and assess issues caused by heavy rain.
