During a meeting of the Women Police Affairs Office at Abu Dhabi Police Headquarters, 50 projects and initiatives were approved for 2021 to enhance the skills of women police officers.
Lieutenant-Colonel Dr. Amna Al Blooshi, Director of the Women Police Affairs Office, said: “These initiatives and projects aim to enhance the skills of women police officers, and coincide with UAE’s golden jubilee (50-year) celebrations.’’
She emphasised that these initiatives focus on a number of vital pillars including skills, empowerment, social responsibility, job satisfaction and quality of life.
The meeting agenda covered other issues including dealing with challenges through research and analysis and overcoming challenges at work. They also discussed submitting ideas and developing projects in line with Abu Dhabi Police’s strategy to support women police services by focusing on innovation and creative ideas that reflect the pivotal role of security and policing.
