The Department of Municipalities and Transport (DMT) will host LIVEX 2026, the inaugural liveability and investment exhibition, as a new platform to advance global dialogue on liveability and the future of urban development.
LIVEX 2026 will bring together government leaders, development institutions, academia and industry experts from around the world to explore how integrated, human-centric approaches to liveability can drive long-term economic and social value. The event will take place from 29 September – 1 October 2026 at ADNEC Centre Abu Dhabi.
LIVEX will place Abu Dhabi at the centre of a global conversation on the future of urban development. The event will highlight the emirate’s integrated approach to building connected, inclusive and future-ready communities, while offering a forum for engagement across sectors including real estate, mobility, healthcare, education, culture, technology and sustainability.
LIVEX reflects Abu Dhabi’s approach to liveability, driven by long-term planning, strategic partnerships and people-focused development, reinforcing the emirate’s position as a global model for liveability and a leading global destination for talent, enterprise and investment.

LIVEX will also showcase Abu Dhabi’s broader development vision and the strength of collaboration across its government ecosystem. Through a three-day programme of strategic discussions, exhibitions, activations and stakeholder engagement, participants will gain insight into the policies, projects and partnerships shaping Abu Dhabi’s continued evolution as a leading global destination to live, work and invest.

Expected to attract more than 20,000 attendees, LIVEX 2026 will welcome a broad range of participants from across the public and private sectors, including policymakers, thought leaders, investors, developers, business leaders, service providers and innovators. The event is also expected to feature more than 75 exhibitors, more than 50 countries represented, and a strong line-up of speakers and experts contributing to the global discourse on liveability, investment and the future of cities.
