His Highness Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council, has chaired a meeting of the Executive Committee of the ADNOC Board of Directors.
During the meeting at ADNOC’s headquarters, His Highness reviewed the progress of strategic initiatives across ADNOC’s portfolio as it continues to transform, decarbonize and future-proof its business and support the delivery of a just, orderly and equitable energy transition. He commeded ADNOC for integrating artificial intelligence (AI) across its operations and endorsed plans for the company to further accelerate the adoption of AI to enhance safety, reduce emissions and maximize value and efficiency.
ADNOC has pioneered the development and deployment of several industry-leading AI solutions to guide decision making and optimize operations as part of its digitial transformation over the past few years. These solutions include the company’s Panorama Digital Command Center and its Thamama Center of Excellence which have unlocked billions of dollars in value by integrating and leveraging AI across ADNOC’s value chain since inception.
Other members attending the meeting included H.E. Dr. Sultan Ahmed Al Jaber, Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology and ADNOC Managing Director and Group CEO; H.E. Suhail Mohamed Al Mazrouei, Minister of Energy and Infrastructure; H.E. Ahmed Ali Al Sayegh, Minister of State; H.E. Khaldoon Khalifa Al Mubarak, Managing Director and Group CEO of Mubadala Investment Company;and H.E. Jassem Mohammed Buatabah Al Zaabi, Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Department of Finance.
