The Abu Dhabi Department of Education and Knowledge (ADEK) invites students of all grade levels to join in a heartfelt tribute to those who protect and support our community every day through the Frontliners Tribute Initiative, part of the National Art Expressions Program, in line with the National Resilience campaign.

The initiative is more than a school project, it is a collective expression of national gratitude, resilience, and pride. Through art, words, music, and innovation, students across Abu Dhabi are invited to share their appreciation for frontline heroes, including those in uniform, the healers, educators, and all who serve the community with dedication.

The initiative welcomes students of all backgrounds and grade levels to find their own way to say 'thank you'. Whether through a heartfelt poem, a vibrant painting, a moving song, or an inventive creation, each work becomes a testament to belonging, to feeling safe, and to taking pride in the UAE. As a non-competitive initiative, it ensures every voice is heard and every contribution is valued.

Building on this spirit, ADEK will showcase student expressions in a Digital Gallery, opening to the public in June 2026, a living collection that captures this moment and serves as a lasting reminder of how the UAE came together in appreciation and unity. Some of these creations may also find their place in public spaces, carrying students’ shared gratitude to those who serve the community.

ADEK encourages all schools and families to support students across Abu Dhabi in participating in this initiative, contributing to a shared expression of gratitude honoring frontline heroes through creativity.

Submissions are open starting 27 April until 11 May 2026. Further details on participation and timelines will be shared directly with schools via official channels.
