Under the directives of Her Highness Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak, Chairwoman of the General Women's Union, President of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood, Supreme Chairwoman of the Family Development Foundation, and Mother of the Nation, the Family Development Foundation (FDF) has affirmed the role of the family in preserving the environment and natural resources in Abu Dhabi.
FDF’s initiatives aim to raise community awareness about the importance of sustainability and its impact on the family’s quality of life in the emirate, and enhance the family’s responsibility in supporting national strategies for sustainable development.
It also aims to revive cultural heritage related to sustainable practices and the preservation of natural resources, and strengthen partnerships to build a joint action ecosystem aligned with social, economic and environmental sustainability goals.
