The Al Ain Youth Council has organised the Al Ain Innovates programme, in partnership with Abu Dhabi Ports Group’s Youth Council, held at MZN Hub powered by Khalifa Fund, as part of its ongoing efforts to empower youth and enhance their role in shaping innovative solutions that contribute to local community development.

The initiative served as a platform to bring together youth creativity and collective teamwork to design impactful and sustainable solutions to local challenges in Al Ain Region.

The programme reflects the UAE’s vision of embedding innovation as a daily practice and a national culture that strengthens the country’s global competitiveness across various sectors. It also translates the wise leadership’s directives to empower youth to become agents of change and future-makers. Al Ain Innovates featured a series of interactive workshops, brainstorming sessions led by experts in innovation and entrepreneurship, as well as professional mentoring to help participants transform their ideas into practical, applicable projects.

The programme focused on developing innovative youth-driven projects in key areas, including employment and the empowerment of national talent, environmental and economic sustainability, smart mobility and transportation within the city, community health and wellbeing, and tourism and culture as pillars to reinforce Al Ain Region’s identity as an inspiring destination.

Young men and women aged between 18 and 35 took part working collaboratively to develop realistic and innovative solutions that improve quality of life and enhance sustainable development in Al Ain Region.

The Al Ain Youth Council pointed out that Al Ain Innovates serves as an open space for free thinking and idea creation, where youth come together to leave their mark on the city’s journey, transforming their energy into projects that inspire the present and shape the future—further strengthening Al Ain Region’s position as a vibrant hub of creativity and innovation in the UAE.
