His Excellency Sheikh Khalifa bin Tahnoon bin Mohammed Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Crown Prince's Court, has attended a group wedding reception for a number of citizens at Majlis Al Hawashim in Abu Dhabi.
Organised by Majalis Abu Dhabi at the Presidential Court, the reception was attended by several senior officials and family members.
His Excellency congratulated the newlyweds and their families, wishing them a happy and prosperous married life. He also highlighted the role of group weddings in supporting Emirati youth and enhancing social cohesion and family stability.
His Excellency Abdullah Al Sayed Al Hashimi extended his thanks and appreciation to the wise leadership for its support in minimising the costs of marriage for young people, emphasising that building a stable and coherent family is a cornerstone of the UAE's progress and a priority for the leadership.
The group wedding for citizens included People of Determination, as part of the family stability support programme Mabrook Madabart (Congratulations on your marriage). The programme was launched by the Zayed Higher Organization for People of Determination to promote integration into society and empowerment across all aspects of social life.
The occasion included traditional shows and folk-art performances.
