The Department of Community Development in Abu Dhabi (DCD), in collaboration with Abu Dhabi Emergency Crisis and Disasters Committee for COVID-19 Pandemic, has continued the "You Matter" campaign until the end of December 2021, which is concerned with supporting workers in both; psychological and moral levels, to providing tools and raising awareness to people surrounded by labours so they can recognize and mental health warning signs suicidal ideation, due to the repercussions caused by the "Covid-19" pandemic.

The campaign has reached more than 500 thousand workers in their complexes in Abu Dhabi, also digital access has exceeded 5 million workers, through digital platforms and websites.The campaign we seek through this phase, to reach nearly 400 people from the groups training is targeting. We have programs that will train groups from the entire health sector and the educational sector, so they have the ability to communicate with workers and improve their psychological morals.

"You Matter" campaign depends in this phase on raising awareness of those listed under the category of workers, such as including Religious leaders, Doctors, Nurses, and Security guards, working with Laborers and all those related to them. Raising awareness aims to mitigate the psychological effects that workers suffer from, as a result of the repercussions of Coronavirus and many different challenges.

H.E Dr. Bushra Al Mulla, Executive Director of the Community Development Sector at the Department of Community Development in Abu Dhabi, said "The Emirate of Abu Dhabi is an ideal work environment since it embraces many nationalities with expertise, skills and competencies which have contributed to the process of urban development and various fields in an atmosphere that is characterized by comfort, safety and decent life, thanks to the directives of our wise leadership". She pointed out that "You Matter" campaign comes within the frame of the humanitarian approach that UAE embraces towards citizens and residents alike.

Al Mulla stated that a comprehensive training program was prepared in cooperation with Camali Mental Health Clinic. It is presented in several languages to ensure it reaches the largest group of workers with different languages such is Arabic, English, Hindi, Urdu and Malayalam, the program includes an introduction and fundamental aspects about the concept of psychology, mental health, various risk factors, and way of protection. It also helps in developing methods of communication and making the right decisions.

Her Excellency said that "You Matter" campaign is being implemented by the elite and experts in the field of psychological health care. The concerned groups are subject to an intensive two-hour program in which they address several areas that contribute in developing their abilities of how to communicate with workers, and to provide them with the advice and support needed. This campaign targeted workers and called for providing positive messages and psychological advice to enhance their ability to face the pandemic.
