The Authority of Social Contribution – Ma’an, in collaboration with Tabrizi Express Dentistry, has launched a mobile dental clinic that will provide free and comprehensive dental and emergency care to blue collar workers in one of the largest labour camps in Al Ain.

Through empowering the Third Sector of non-profits, social enterprises, and community volunteers, Ma’an addresses pressing social priorities in Abu Dhabi across environment, infrastructure, and education sectors, in addition to its healthcare initiatives.

Rose Recongco, Team Leader – Tabrizi Dentistry, L.L.C, said: "We are committed to ensuring all Abu Dhabi residents have access to quality dental care and has been our legacy since 1979, and partnering with the Authority of Social Contribution – Ma’an empowers us to deliver on that commitment. With this initiative and collaboration, we take pride in providing quality dental treatments for everyone because everyone deserves a healthy smile."

With public-private partnerships at the heart of Ma’an’s work in driving community engagement and supporting the development of innovative solutions that solve key social priorities, the mobile dental clinic is only one tailored health and wellbeing initiative currently active in Abu Dhabi.

Since its inception, The Authority of Social Contribution – Ma’an has embarked on numerous programmes and initiatives to address social priorities across sectors, including health, education, infrastructure and the environment.

The success and positive impact generated by these projects has proven two-fold. Firstly, The Authority of Social Contribution – Ma’an has welcomed an increase in contributions from the community and private sectors who recognise the value of social contribution. Secondly, the advance of The Authority of Social Contribution – Ma’an programmes have led to a stronger and more connected society that is inclusive, collaborative and cohesive. With the three initiatives, Accessible Healthcare, Keep Smiling and Mobile Dental Care, they aim to reach 80,000 beneficiaries from more than AED5 million in contributions.

More than 700,000 individuals within the emirate have benefited from over 60 programmes and initiatives created and executed by the authority.
