The Cultural Programs and Heritage Festivals Committee – Abu Dhabi recently announced the launch of the 10th Edition of the Millions' Poet Program. Registration is open until 10th September, through the program website, for poets wishing to participate in this year's program.

The organizing committee explained that the registration process for poets wishing to participate in the 10th edition starts by visiting the program website at: www.millionspoet.ae. Participants must be between 18 and 45 years old, and poems must be between 10 and 20 verses in length. Poems must be typed; handwritten entries will not be accepted. Participating poets must include a personal photo (against a white background) with their registration, in addition to a color copy of their passport, which must be valid for 12 months at least.

The launch of the Millions' Poet Program in its new edition comes under the difficult circumstances faced by the world due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The organizing committee will be enforcing precautionary and preventative measures to ensure the safety of all participants and the general public.

The Millions' Poet Program continues to be a success. This event serves to emphasize the great efforts made towards promoting Nabati poetry in general, and supporting Nabati poets within Arab circles. It also highlights the role and the vision of Abu Dhabi, the capital of the UAE, which is aimed at embracing poetry, promoting interculturality, cultural achievements and communication.
