The Abu Dhabi Government welcomed a record 55,000 visitors to its pavilion during GITEX Global 2025, held at the Dubai World Trade Centre, while showcasing the depth of innovation driving its transformation into the world’s first AI-native government by 2027.
The week-long programme, led by the Department of Government Enablement – Abu Dhabi (DGE), attracted around 10,000 more visitors than last year. It featured 55 AI-enabled government projects and 55 strategic partnerships, culminating with a series of forward-looking discussions on AI leadership, talent, and governance in a geopolitically shifting world.
The final day’s agenda included a Fireside Chat hosted by TAMM, Dell Technologies, and Deloitte titled From Silicon to Sentience – Scaling AI-Powered Government Services; a panel on the Future of Leadership in an Age of AI and Geopolitical Change led by DGE; and the Abu Dhabi Government Employees (ADGE) Awards and Ambassadors Ceremony, recognising innovation champions and cross-government collaboration.
Among the many standout launches was TAMM 4.0 which introduced AutoGov, the world’s first AI public servant. It automatically manages recurring government tasks, from licence renewals and utility payments to scheduling routine healthcare appointments.
It marks a new era for government services, moving from reactive delivery to anticipatory government. The platform now connects over 1,100 services across 90 public and private-sector partners.
TAMM Hologram will extend this innovation to mobile pods across the emirate, allowing residents to interact with live government agents via immersive holographic technology.
His Excellency Ahmed Tamim Hisham Al Kuttab, Chairman of DGE, said: “TAMM 4.0 and the partnerships unveiled this week demonstrate that Abu Dhabi’s transformation is not merely about adopting technology, but fundamentally reimagining how the government serves people. By working together within a unified ecosystem, we are building a digital future where innovation serves a clear purpose – empowering communities and building a government ready for tomorrow.”
During GITEX Global 2025, Abu Dhabi entities launched and demonstrated dozens of next-generation AI solutions, including: GovGPT, the sovereign AI assistant enabling secure, bilingual government-wide knowledge search; Tomouh 2.0, an AI-driven learning platform for public-sector employees; LivAI, Abu Dhabi’s AI-powered digital-twin for urban planning; the Environmental Data Platform, which centralises satellite imagery, GIS and AI for real-time monitoring and predictive analytics; AD.WE, an integrated energy and water management control centre; Smart Healthcare Platform and Population Health Intelligence (PHI) advancing precision medicine; Community Well-Being Dashboard and Family Support Insights to enhance social impact; and RAAD Vehicle, the emergency response command platform of the Abu Dhabi Civil Defence Authority.
These initiatives, part of the Abu Dhabi Government’s AI-Native by Design, Community-Driven by Purpose theme, demonstrate how AI is being embedded into every aspect of public service, from healthcare and education to energy, sustainability, and mobility.
Abu Dhabi unveiled the DGE AI Skills Collaboration, the world’s first multi-partner, government-wide AI upskilling initiative, bringing together leading technology providers and academic partners.
Building on 95 per cent workforce AI readiness across the government workforce and more than 100 live AI use cases, the collaboration delivers role-based learning pathways for executives and frontline teams alike, in both Arabic and English.
The strategic partnerships signed throughout the week advance AI implementation across healthcare, urban infrastructure, energy sustainability, emergency response, trade, and social empowerment.
Key collaborations include agreements between DGE and global leaders such as Oracle, Microsoft, Core42, Google Cloud, and AWS, as well as partnerships that expand AI adoption in education, transport, and community services.
Abu Dhabi Government’s participation at GITEX Global 2025 demonstrated how AI-driven innovation can create a government that is smarter, more responsive, and deeply human-centred.
By showcasing breakthrough projects, unveiling AutoGov, and establishing new strategic partnerships, Abu Dhabi continues to set new benchmarks for how governments worldwide can leverage AI to serve their people better.
