In the presence of Vjosa Osmani, President of Kosovo, the Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak Children’s Hospital has been inaugurated in Pristina, the capital of Kosovo.

The hospital is part of Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak’s ongoing humanitarian initiatives to enhance healthcare services for children, and reflects UAE values.It is one of the largest humanitarian projects in Kosovo and will enhance optimised paediatric healthcare delivery and support mothers. With 109 beds, the hospital specialises in paediatric emergency medicine, paediatric oncology, paediatric cardiology, and paediatric surgery.

Albin Kurti, Prime Minister of Kosovo, Arben Vitia, Minister of Health of Kosovo, Dr. Maitha Al Shamsi, UAE Minister of State, Abdulla Al Hamed, Chairman of Department odf Health, and Nabila Al Shamsi, UAE non-Resident Ambassador to Republic of Kosovo and UAE Ambassador to Montenegro, attended the inauguration.
