HE Abdulla Bin Mohamed Al Hamed, Chairman of the Department of Health – Abu Dhabi (DoH) today visited a number of Covid-19 screening, assessment and treatment centres in Abu Dhabi.

The visits are in line with the leadership’s directives to monitor Abu Dhabi’s preventive measures to combat Covid-19 pandemic, and to offer Eid greetings and congratulations to frontline workers in appreciation and recognition of their efforts during Eid Al Adha.

During the visits, Abdulla Al Hamed reiterated the leadership’s appreciation for frontline workers’ efforts, and their dedication to combating the pandemic and protecting the health and safety of all community members, citizens and residents. He also emphasised the leadership and the community’s pride in its frontline heroes.

He conveyed to frontline staff the greetings and congratulations of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, on the occasion of Eid Al Adha, and wished them all good health.

During the visit, Abdulla Al Hamed commented: “The leadership has, since the start of the pandemic, been committed to providing all necessary support to medical staff across the UAE to enable them to combat the pandemic, and to enhance efforts to deliver the highest standards of healthcare.”
