To preserve current health achievements and curb the spread of Covid-19, and following a thorough review of all activities, Abu Dhabi Emergency Crisis and Disasters Committee has approved increasing the operational capacity of economic, tourism and entertainment activities; extending the validity of a negative PCR or DPI test result used to enter the emirate from to 72 hours, and replacing the tests on days 4 and 8 from entry with one test on day 6 for those staying 6+ days; procedures for all international travellers, both residents and tourists, including: exempting travellers from ‘green’ countries from quarantine and reducing the quarantine period for other travellers to 10 days; requiring all travellers to conduct a PCR test on day 6 if they are staying 6+ consecutive days, and on day 12 if they are staying 12+ consecutive days; periodic screening programmes for residents of industrial zones and highly populated areas, and the employees of commercial activities; increasing the capacity of SEHA testing centres outside Abu Dhabi and closing testing centres at entry points.
