The 8th Abu Dhabi Government Leadership Forum, hosted by Department of Government Enablement under the theme Unified Leadership for Stronger Communities, brought together more than 200 officials, empowering them to shape the emirate’s future through cross-government collaboration.

The forum highlighted practical models of shared governance that deliver measurable impact for citizens. The forum discussed the transformative impact of development projects in the Al Falah area as practical examples of unified leadership in action. Since its opening, the Nabd Al Falah hub has delivered concrete results that demonstrate the power of collaborative governance, including 23,000 visitors welcomed through comprehensive programming; 175 programmes and events delivered addressing diverse community needs; 458 individual beneficiary sessions providing targeted support; 76 partnerships established spanning government, private, and third sectors and measurable improvements in community cohesion indicators and intergenerational connections.

Community members shared personal stories at the forum, underscoring how these initiatives have directly improved their daily lives and strengthened social participation across the area.

His Excellency Dr Mugheer Khamis Al Khaili, Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Department of Community Development, said: “Abu Dhabi continues to strengthen its pioneering role in building a cohesive society that places quality of life at the forefront of its priorities. The Nabdh Al Falah community hub serves as a practical model of this vision, acting as a platform where government leaders and community members come together to enhance direct communication and integrate roles in implementing strategic projects. In a short period, the developmental projects in the Al Falah area achieved significant milestones, most notably raised community cohesion indicators and establishing itself as a vital community platform for intergenerational communication, while promoting the positive participation of diverse segments of society. These accomplishments represent a major step forward in Abu Dhabi’s journey toward building a more inclusive, innovative, and sustainable social sector."

His Excellency Ahmed Tamim Hisham Al Kuttab, Chairman of DGE, said: "By working as one team, sharing data openly, and building trust, we are creating solutions that improve lives and strengthen communities. The Nabd Al Falah model shows the real impact of unified leadership in action." His Excellency Eng Hamad Ali Al Dhaheri, Undersecretary of the Department of Community Development – Abu Dhabi, stated that Al Falah initiative represents a successful community model in fostering values of solidarity and cohesion. His Excellency emphasised that its success was the result of cooperation and collaboration across various government entities, as well as the active participation of private and third-sector partners who contributed to the implementation of community initiatives and programmes.

His Excellency extended his gratitude to all working teams and partners for their joint efforts, affirming that this initiative marks a starting point for expanding the scope of community programs and promoting innovation in social solutions.

His Excellency said: “This will ensure the sustainability of positive impact and solidify Abu Dhabi’s position as a global model for comprehensive social development.”

The forum concluded with a clear call to action for continued collaboration, with leaders pledging to build on Nabd Al Falah's success by expanding community-focused programmes across Abu Dhabi. By embedding shared governance and accountability at the heart of future initiatives, the emirate aims to ensure lasting impact and create stronger, more resilient communities throughout the region.
