The Abu Dhabi School of Government (ADSG) has opened applications for Harvard Kennedy School’s master’s programmes as part of the Emirates Leadership Initiative (ELI). The initiative offers all employees of UAE government, semi government and private sectors a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to attain a degree at one of the world’s leading institutions.

Over the course of two years, successful candidates will gain advanced training in public policy, public management and leadership development, in addition to exposure to cutting-edge research and resources. They will also be offered collaboration opportunities with renowned faculty and researchers and will benefit from a vast network with a diverse community of students and alumni.

His Excellency Dr. Yasir Ahmed Al Naqbi, Director-General at ADSG, said: "The Emirates Leadership Initiative is a notable educational programme that provides candidates with invaluable knowledge at one of the world’s most prestigious institutions, enabling them to excel in their roles and effectively support the UAE’s growth ambitions. As our nation transitions into a knowledge-based economy, we are committed to continue to offer meaningful and impactful initiatives with tangible outcomes as we build the government of the future together.”

The Emirates Leadership Initiative supports Abu Dhabi School of Government’s efforts of building an exceptional cohort of leaders who will drive Abu Dhabi's future success. ELI candidates will be included in the Governmental Expertise Programme, a new, integrated platform designed to transform the process of delivering training courses for government entities in Abu Dhabi. The initiative will support efforts to attract training experts, leveraging on their professional expertise to deliver bespoke, world-class courses for Abu Dhabi government employees.
