His Excellency Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence has marked the International Day for Tolerance, reaffirming that the UAE, guided by the vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, has become a global model of coexistence and cooperation, where over 200 nationalities live in mutual respect, understanding, and constructive dialogue.
The values and principles of tolerance, coexistence, and human fraternity in the UAE are embodied in the vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE. His Highness consistently emphasises the importance of a shared sense of responsibility, affirming that the nation’s progress and development require every individual to have full engagement in serving the community, and informed productive contribution towards achieving national goals. This commitment ensures living in peace and security through a spirit of cooperation, joint efforts, understanding and respecting other’s needs.
His Excellency said: “The UAE has taken solid steps to care for its senior citizens, implementing advanced programmes and initiatives to support their quality of life, providing comprehensive health, social, and psychological care to preserve their dignity, and ensuring they remain a top priority for both leadership and society.”
His Excellency also emphasised that the UAE will continue its civilisational mission rooted in goodness and giving, believing that tolerance leads to security, peace, and prosperity, and that coexistence shapes a future of mutual respect.
