His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Board of Zayed Authority for People of Determination and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Abu Dhabi Excellence Award for People of Determination Inclusion – Damj, has chaired Zayed Authority for People of Determination’s inaugural Board of Trustees meeting.
His Highness reaffirmed that supporting People of Determination has always been a priority for the leadership, further enhancing Abu Dhabi’s position as a global model in caring for and empowering People of Determination.
His Highness further commended the Authority’s pioneering role and national achievements, which reflect the UAE’s unwavering commitment to supporting and empowering People of Determination.
The meeting included a comprehensive briefing on the Abu Dhabi Strategy for People of Determination and reviewed the scope of work and services provided by the Authority. The board also discussed strategic plans and highlighted key achievements, initiatives, and outcomes across the pillars of the Abu Dhabi Strategy for People of Determination.
The meeting reviewed the Authority’s services, including care and rehabilitation, education, vocational training, and specialised social care, and highlighted the importance of strengthening institutional coordination and sustainability of service quality, contributing to enhanced wellbeing for People of Determination.
