The General Authority of Islamic Affairs, Endowments & Zakat (Awqaf) has marked the occasion of the Prophet's Hijra with various events, which featured wide participation from its cadres, employees and community members.
Notably, it launched the 4th season of its summer programme, Our Mosques, Fortress and Faith, which offers a wide range of activities both in mosques and through the authority’s platforms.
An awareness session titled The Prophet’s Migration: A Civilizational Vision and Social Values, drawing inspiration from the Hijrah’s principles to reinforce community cohesion in the emirate, was also held.
