His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ruler’s Representative in Al Dhafra Region, has visited the National Library and Archives (NLA) in Abu Dhabi.
His Highness reviewed projects and the advanced technologies used in document preservation and archiving, and commended NLA’s role in safeguarding the UAE’s history and heritage in collaboration with leading historians.
His Highness praised the efforts and achievements of NLA in documenting oral history, digital archiving for future generations, restoration and preservation work, and the use of AI in archival processes, and reaffirmed its role in fostering national awareness and strengthening core values among future generations.
