Abu Dhabi Royal Equestrian Arts (ADREA), in collaboration with The UAE Embassy in China, is hosting a three-day cultural celebration until 15 February 2026 to mark the Chinese Year of the Horse.

The event brings Emirati and Chinese traditions together through a shared cultural symbol: the horse. Across centuries, the horse has shaped how people travelled, ruled, and connected, carrying influence and knowledge across regions.

Held at ADREA in Abu Dhabi, the gathering offers a platform for cultural exchange through crafted workshops, traditional experiences, and performances. Over three days, the event will reflect on the past, engage with the present, and look toward the future of equestrian care through innovation.

On Saturday 14 February, Furusiyya: Return to Origins, ADREA’s weekly signature performance, will trace the bond between rider and horse across cultures and centuries. Within the arena, heritage takes form through movement, precision, and artistry.

The Chinese Year of the Horse gathering reflects a shared cultural moment between the UAE and China. It affirms a continued commitment to dialogue, exchange, and mutual understanding through the arts.
