Al Wathba Wetland Reserve
Established by the late Sheikh Zayed, Al Wathba Wetland Reserve, part of Environment Agency – Abu Dhabi, was Abu Dhabi's first legally protected area. It became the region's first IUCN Green List site in 2018.
