The Mubadala Abu Dhabi Open, underway until 7 February 2026 at the International Tennis Centre, Zayed Sports City, Abu Dhabi, has hosted various heritage and community activities as part of wider celebrations across the UAE under the theme UAE-Kuwait, Brothers Forever.
The celebrations featured live performances by a Kuwaiti folk group, including singing performances on the main stage at the Tennis Village, artworks and interactive screens showcasing the long-standing relations between the UAE and Kuwait, as well as activities tailored for families and children. These included traditional workshops, heritage crafts, and interactive cultural competitions designed to enhance visitors' knowledge of shared UAE-Kuwait customs and traditions.
Held alongside the Mubadala Abu Dhabi Open 2026, these activities complemented the tournament’s world-class competition by combining elite women’s professional tennis with cultural programming, and family-friendly experiences, creating an engaging platform that connects sport, heritage and community.
