The second round of the Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Jiu-Jitsu Championship will take place from 3-5 April 2026 at Zayed Sports Complex in Fujairah. Organised by the UAE Jiu-Jitsu Federation, the championship, in its third edition, will bring together top athletes from leading clubs and academies across the UAE, competing across multiple age groups.  

The first day of the round will feature the under-18, adults and masters divisions for men and women. The second day will host the under-14 and under-16 categories. The round will conclude on day three with the under-12 and children’s divisions. Over three days, the championship is expected to deliver strong competition and encourage families to fill the stands and support participants.

His Excellency Mohamed Salem Al Dhaheri, Vice Chairman of the UAE Jiu-Jitsu Federation, said: “The Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Jiu-Jitsu Championship continues to set a comprehensive model for sporting excellence by providing a high-level competitive environment that supports the development of athletes’ performance across the UAE.

His Excellency added that the championship reflects the Federation’s commitment to organising its tournaments to the highest professional standards, while also strengthening family engagement with the sport in line with the objectives of the UAE Year of Family.

The championship series comprises eight rounds held across the UAE, including five Gi and three No-Gi events. The series provides a platform to identify talent, develop athletes’ performance, enhance technical capabilities and strengthen competition amongst clubs and academies nationwide, reinforcing jiu-jitsu’s presence as a leading sport within the community.
