In coordination with the Emergencies, Crises and Disasters Management Centre - Abu Dhabi, His Excellency Mansoor Ibrahim Al Mansoori, Chairman of the Department of Health – Abu Dhabi (DoH), visited individuals affected by the current regional events who are receiving care at Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City, to check on their condition and review the treatment plans in place.

His Excellency was accompanied during the visit by Her Excellency Dr Noura Khamis Al Ghaithi, Undersecretary of the Department of Health – Abu Dhabi, Dr Marwan Alkaab, Chief Executive Officer of Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City, His Excellency Dr Rashid Obaid Al Suwaidi, Director General of the Abu Dhabi Public Health Centre, and His Excellency Dr Abdulla Rashid Hamarain Al Dhaheri, Executive Director of the Response and Recovery Sector at the Emergencies, Crises and Disasters Management Centre – Abu Dhabi.

During the visit, His Excellency met with patients and their families, and received a detailed briefing from medical teams on case progress and treatment pathways, highlighting the importance of delivering integrated care that addresses both the medical and human needs of every patient.

His Excellency affirmed that Abu Dhabi’s healthcare system continues to operate with a high level of efficiency, underpinned by an integrated, intelligence-led infrastructure that enables real-time coordination, anticipates demand, and ensures continuity of care under all conditions. His Excellency also highlighted the central role of the Unified Medical Operations Command Centre (UMOC) in coordinating efforts, enabling real-time system-wide visibility, predictive coordination, and rapid response across the healthcare ecosystem.

His Excellency Mansoor Ibrahim Al Mansoori said: “The safety, wellbeing and care of our community is always our priority.
