Under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council, Abu Dhabi National Energy Company (TAQA) is hosting the 4th World Utilities Congress in Abu Dhabi from 27-29 May 2025 at ADNEC Centre Abu Dhabi.
This year’s congress is being held under the theme Innovating for a New Age of Utilities. The event is organised by dmg events, in collaboration with the Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure (MOEI), Abu Dhabi Department of Energy (DoE), Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi (DCT Abu Dhabi) and Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Company (ADNEC). The congress is a platform for global utilities sector leaders, policymakers and innovators to address key challenges in the power and water sectors. As the industry advances towards integrating renewable energy sources, enhancing grid resilience and optimising water management, the event will drive high-level discussions, showcase cutting-edge solutions and facilitate strategic collaborations.
His Excellency Suhail Mohamed Al Mazrouei, UAE Minister of Energy and Infrastructure, underscored the significance of the World Utilities Congress 2025, which presents a valuable platform for global experts to come together and share insights and expertise on the cutting-edge technologies and innovative solutions addressing sustainability challenges in the electricity and water sectors, in line with the Ministry’s commitment to supporting the UAE’s net-zero by 2050 target.
