The Mohamed Bin Zayed University for Humanities has concluded the Poet of Nabdh Al Falah competition, organised in collaboration with the Municipal Community Center and Nabd Al Falah community hub in Abu Dhabi. A total of 40 students participated, with 11 winning prizes.
The competition was part of a specialised training workshop on the fundamentals of Arabic poetry, organised by the university to promote cultural identity and nurture literary talents within the local community.
The workshop aimed to foster a passion for the Arabic language and both classical and Nabati poetry, connecting young people with their cultural roots and empowering them to express their heritage through poetic compositions. It also sought to refine skills in writing, recitation and literary criticism through interactive and practical workshops, while strengthening the university’s ties with the local community by providing a creative platform that promotes literary culture and enhances linguistic identity.
