Al Fardan Group has contributed AED 5 million in support of the Mother of the Nation Endowment for Orphans initiative, launched by the Endowments and Minors’ Funds Authority – Awqaf Abu Dhabi under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, in line with the Year of Family. The initiative aims to establish a sustainable endowment funding source dedicated to orphan care across the UAE.
The contribution comes amid growing community support for the initiative and reflects a strong commitment to the values of generosity and solidarity that define UAE society. It also reinforces endowment (waqf) as a sustainable development model that transforms contributions into carefully managed investment assets, with returns allocated to supporting orphans’ educational, healthcare and living needs, ensuring greater stability and expanded opportunities for growth and empowerment.
