The Abu Dhabi Emergency, Crisis and Disasters Committee includes representatives of a number of local government entities and global experts, with the aim of setting pandemic response policies and plans, including implementing and updating preventive measures, including quarantine and testing protocols, assessing risks, supporting business continuity, and proposing strategies and solutions to help mitigate the effects of the pandemic and accelerate health and economic recovery.
Using specialised teams to manage and implement health, security and logistical operations, the committee plays an instrumental role in guiding and coordinating response efforts with various government entities and driving public and private sector collaboration to tackle the pandemic
